5 Things 9Round Newbies Need to Know

Whether you’re new to working out or just want to a try a new gym, knowing exactly what to expect before you walk in will put your mind at ease and make trying something new so much easier. We’ve put together this handy list of five things that every 9Round rookie should know before getting started, including a video of a 9Round newbie’s workout experience.

1. 9Round Certified Trainer included. You get a trainer! You get a trainer! (Excuse us while we have an Oprah moment.) Every single workout at 9Round includes a trainer to guide and motivate you, at no extra cost to you.​

2. You never have to worry about running late. There are no set class times and a new round starts every three minutes. Just show up and a 9Round trainer will show you exactly where to go and what to do to start your workout.​

3. You don’t have to know a single kickboxing move, and there's no such thing as being too out of shape to start.. There is no person-to-person contact and you don’t have to have any previous kickboxing experience. 9Round trainers will walk you through every punch, kick, and burpee to ensure you are safely and properly executing each exercise.​

They'll also work with you to modify your 9Round workout based on your fitness level, and even any physical limitations that may affect your ability to perform certain moves.

4. You get a full-body workout that changes daily. Bye, bye boredom! And because we vary the moves and they engage your whole body, you really don't need to do any other workouts. One and done!
