My name Mélanie Boucher, born and raised in Orleans, fully bilingual mother of 2 beautiful children, Simon and Jade.
Here are few of my life exp...eriences that helped me become a well-rounded and open-minded individual. I believe experience comes in many forms and it doesn’t only come from full-time, paid positions. I have travelled to over 20 countries, studied Spanish in Costa Rica, worked as a tour and fishing guide in Banff, worked as a flight attendant, appeared on a Special K cereal box, opened my own on-line used designer clothing store, play sports and exercise daily.
With years of real-world experience in communications, marketing, public relations, event planning, social media practices along with my love for people and fitness, I believe that my diverse background and experience are a perfect fit to operate and manage a 9Round.
It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together. I am passionate about health and fitness and can’t wait to help people achieve their fitness goals.

My name is Logan. I am 26 years old and am new to the Ottawa area. I began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu out of curiosity when I was 16, and it quic...kly became my biggest passion. I also began training in Kickboxing shortly after. I then began to entertain the idea of competing. Shortly after heading off to college in London, Ontario when I was 19, I had my first two fights. Luckily winning both of them. In the following three years I continued to fight in Kickboxing competitions, and was able to finish with a record of 7-1. Realizing I was more passionate about teaching & training than I was about competing, I decided to discontinue competing in Kickboxing and focus on mostly on Jiu Jitsu. Which is what I am currently pursuing as an athlete. I credit much of who I am to the lessons I learned from the wonderful people I have met through martial arts, the ones who helped me grow. I greatly look forward to giving out all the lessons and knowledge that was bestowed upon me. Hopefully I can play a small role in your long term development, as we all strive to become who we are meant to be.

I became a member at 9Round’s in Mexico City and when I came back I started working here! I’ve been to over 21 countries including Tanzania, Cuba, France and Switzerland! I speak Spanish and am currently trying to practice my French. I love working out in the gym to better my physical and mental health.
