I’m Melanie, Born and raised in Orleans. I’m the original owner of 9Round Orleans West since November 2017. I’m also a proud bilingual mom of two. Simon and Jade. I truly believe in the power of staying active, both physically and mentally. My journey has taken me in many directions. From travelling to over 20 countries and studying Spanish in Costa Rica. To working as a flight attendant. A tour guide in Banff. And even launching my own online business. Along the way, I’ve built a strong background in communications, marketing, and working with people. Skills that I now bring into the gym every day. As a small business owner, I’ve embraced every challenge that’s come my way. Including navigating through Covid. I’m proud to have continued growing and showing up for this community over the years. I’ve had the chance to meet incredible people throughout this journey. Members who are still with us from day one. Trainers who’ve been part of this journey for years. What I love most about 9Round is the people. All fitness levels. All walks of life. In a supportive, no-judgment environment. You’ll often find me training right alongside you. Hi, My name is Jumi! I have been training Muay thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) since 2019 and competing at the amature level. I come with competitive sports coaching experience, a passion for working out and has great interpersonal skills. I have always been active and have participated in many competitive sports such as soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Look forward to train with you at 9Round.
