  • I love the motivation from the trainers, how quick the workout is, and how good I feel afterwards. The facility is always kept extremely clean (despite all the sweaty people working out) as the trainers are always wiping down equipment/mopping the floors. I would recommend 9round to anyone at any fitness level! No kickboxing experience required! An amazing workout, a great way to blow off some steam and a great way to continue your fitness journey. 10/10 recommend :)

  • Honestly the trainers have nailed the motivation aspect. They have found the perfect balance of aggression and positivity that makes me push my limits. Shoutout to them for creating new drills and moves so that each time I go I get to learn something new about myself that I didn’t know I could do! The space also feels like a very safe area, I don’t know any of the other members there but yet when I walk in those doors I feel welcomed and like I belong. Overall it’s a great workout and burns in such a satisfying way. I’ve been going for roughly a month and have already seen incredible results - from my muscles to my mind. Thank you!

You're never left without support or guidance, which if you are like me and find it hard to commit to any type of strenuous exercise, or lack self confidence, is precisely what is needed to keep coming back.   • I think what I like best is the simplicity of the concept and the process. 9 stations, a few minutes at each station, and lots of support along the way through the circuit and bam in 30 minutes you've just had a fantastic full body workout!

    Syed "Sniper" Rizvi
    I've been boxing competitively for about 3.5 years. I got into boxing as i always had been a fight fan from a very young age, and was always intrigued with martial arts. I decided to give boxing a go and fell in love with it. I don't think there's a better feeling than than the thrill and accomplishment of winning one in the ring. Your sparring buddies and coaches become your family and i love the camaraderie between fighters. Training people for me isn't a job, it's a hobby. I love being apart of the team here at 9Round as i have a passion for fitness, and love to make bonds with my clients as i see them improve their skills and evolve their body overtime.

    As a gymnast kid I was super competitive and active but stoped exercising for most of my student years. After having my first kid I started training box-fit cardio because it was the only class available while my kid was in swimming lessons, from there I continued on my path to boxing, kickboxing a bit of jiu jitsu and currently Muay Thai. It’s been over a decade since I stared and I could not leave with out it now. The joy it brings me is what i hope to share with everyone at 9round.

    I have always been an active individual, taking part in as many sports and physical activities as possible. While studying in University, I began to struggle with my weight and turned to Muay Thai to get back into shape. I have been practicing Muay Thai for approximately 5 years and have taught and lead classes for 4 plus years (along with coaching several championship fighters). I felt honored when asked to be a team member at 9Rounds. I believe in the training method, work ethic and overall friendly environment the team presents. I believe that these are some of the best methods for our clients to help them achieve their physical and life goals.

    Kyle "Killer" Taruc
    I started training in martial arts when I first walked into an MMA gym around 10 years ago. Since then I've been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to train in Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, and Judo in a variety of different gyms. I've also paddled competitively for Western University's Dragonboat team for the past two years and I try to keep a regular workout schedule of weightlifting and cardio. I have a lot of passion for fitness and martial arts and I hope to be able to use this passion to help the members of 9Round achieve their fitness goals.

    Danny "Lupo Veloce "Fast Wolf"" Vacarella
    Since i was in high school i was always a big fitness advocate, I played sports and trained daily while learning Mauy Thai on my free time. Four years I have been creating fitness programs and have been assisting others in pushing towards their goals, and 9 round has led me in the appropriate direction to achieve that. Choosing 9 Round allows me to fully engage with people and help them see the results they want to see, while also teaching them kickboxing. With two Years of Mauy Thai and one year of boxing experience, I hope to achieve in bringing your goals to life.

    Selo "Spartan" Karakatsanis
    I started my martial arts journey at the age of 8. A few years later, after receiving my black belt. I decided to try other martial arts. I started with boxing for a couple months, then moved onto MMA, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 16. This also lead me to take wrestling in high school. Seeing the benefits martial arts gave me not only physically but mentally and spiritually, has made me gravitate to the 9Round philosophy and way. Coming from the Barrie location i sought to be transferred to another 9Round within the Toronto area, and chose the Leaside location. I love helping members achieve their goals!
