My name is Steve Mendoza and my fighter name is “Juggernaut!” I love that name because it reminds me of how indestructible we are if we put our minds ...to it!! I am a father of twin boys that are 6 years old. So, being 42 I have to be on my best game to keep up with them over the next several years and 9Round is the best training to do that for me! I feel stronger and healthier than I did 20 years ago and with 9Round I only plan on getting better and younger!! Age is a number and I am going to be living proof to that!! More

Lauren “Hit Girl” Robb I have always been very active and energetic, the kind of person who can’t sit down for very long. Although I had been active... throughout my childhood my fitness journey started after I bought myself a gym membership in my childhood town on my 18th birthday. Going into a male dominated field after high school I was determined to gain strength. Since that day I haven’t looked back, first hand I have experienced how a healthy lifestyle can improve your physical and mental wellbeing, raising energy and confidence levels. Summer “Sizzle” A strong passion for fitness and healthy living is why I chose to work for 9Round. I strongly believe that living a healthy and acti...ve life is key for a happy life as well as other benefits. I hope while working here to motivate and get to know members and staff on their athletic journey. I am a University of Guelph student with an extensive athletic background. Highlights include playing in the Provincial Women’s Hockey League and competing at lifesaving worlds in Adelaide, Australia. Other sport backgrounds include; cycling, lacrosse, fastball, and kickboxing training. And I hope to continue an active lifestyle as a police officer after I graduate! More

I’ve had one positive experience after another since joining 9Round! Every trainer has been entirely welcoming and motivating. Each workout, I feel supported and encouraged by the trainers and apprec... iate the assistance to fine-tune technical aspects of the exercises to help us maximize our workouts safely and effectively. Walking in the door and being met with the fullest enthusiasm as the trainers yell out ‘WELCOME TO 9Round!!!’, along with the upbeat music, sets the tone of excitement and confidence to knock it out each day. It’s so fun to hear your fighter name being called out with empowering praises by the trainers at each station. The ever-changing variety of workouts provides curious anticipation over the new ways I can challenge myself each day. I feel a growing sense of strength and confidence that is supported by an amazing team of trainers, in a safe and accepting space. The high fives and comments of success after each workout leave me feeling accomplished and reassured that I’ve killed it again, and I always feel that the trainers are just as proud of me as I am of myself. They staff trainers are all fantastic and always there when you need assistance during your work out! Great staff. I find the trainers to be very positive, encouraging and patient. The work out is very well organized and well thought out. The staff very quickly realized my capabilities and have worked... to push me to achieve more at a very manageable and rewarding pace. I feel challenged every day and very much enjoy the mixture of exercise and find that nothing gets stale. I love the full body workout and the fact that I can keep my own pace. The nature of the work out stations allows me to jump in and start right away and I know that I will be done in 30 minutes without have to wait on machines or equipment being free.
