Janine is the Manager for both 9Round Abbotsford and Chilliwack. Having over 10 years experience teaching and training in Martial Arts she's always up... for taking your 9Round workout to the next level technically. When she's not in the Studio telling you to keep your hands up you'll find her working out, hanging out with her husband or travelling to scuba diving destinations. More

The trainers are incredible people who are alw... ays there to motivate you and challenge you to the next level. I love the fact that the workouts are different everyday, challenging a different muscle group or a different part of your body to become stronger. I also love the fact that the people who come to 9Rounds are from all walks of life, and everyone is there to motivate and encourage each other, not to criticize or pass judgement. If you have an injury, the trainers will help you work around it, so you can still get a great workout, and they will give you ways to strengthen the part of your body that is injured. The workout is a wonderful, high intensity 30 minute workout that anyone can fit Into their schedule. I highly recommend 9Rounds to anyone who is looking to change their routine, wants a fun workout, and who is looking to make some healthy changes in their life. It’s a 30 minute intense but energizing workout. My legs, arms, and core are getting toned as a result, and I would never push myself at the gym like this workout does. I’ve lost weight! The trainer... s are motivated to help me reach new goals and keep me motivated while I’m there. I tried multiple gyms over the past few years but felt quite unwelcome at most of them - the facilities were nice, and the people working there were fine, but I felt like I was being judged by the peo... ple around me. I had enormous goals, and I tried too hard right at the beginning then ran out of energy after a few weeks and never went back. 9Round has become an important part of my life - I am greeted enthusiastically every time I walk in, and there is just this atmosphere of encouragement from the other attendees. The trainers go out of their way to learn things about me, and are genuinely interested in helping me with my goals. There are fun things going on every month - the mental aspect of it is almost bigger to me than the physical workouts. I love the fact that 9 Rounds gives you a high intensity workout, that works all of the muscles and gives you the cardio that you need. By the end of your workout, you are not only sweating profusely... , but you feel invigorated and ready to take on any challenge. My body has never been in better shape, and I have never had more energy since I joined 9 Rounds. The other aspect I love about 9 Rounds are the people. The trainers are very knowledgeable when it comes to proper form, information about an exercise, nutrition, and even making modifications for exercises if you need it. The people that come to 9 Rounds for their workout are also great too. Everyone is encouraging, and it becomes like a family over time. I have been to several gyms over the last ten years and this is by far the best! The variety of workouts keeps it interesting. The trainers are knowledgeable, teaching technique and providing the perf... ect level of encouragement. I have been here with a broken arm and post surgery and have been supported in reaching my goals. Where do I start!?! The fact that I'm a shift worker and don't have to work around class times is GREAT! Also, that you don't have to be at a certain fitness level. You just do the amount of reps th... at you're able to do for the level you're at and hopefully increase over time. The trainers walking around are always helpful and encouraging, too. I never feel judged. No matter what kind of day I am having or how I am feeling, I am encouraged to push myself but never past a point where it is pushing too hard. This is the only workout I have ha... d where I have seen good results and after coming for a year I am really happy with where I am. I love the trainers! They are all so great to motivate you during your work out. Especially Harjit. He works very hard to make sure you are staying on task and getting the most out of your workout.
